I'm glad that PCA is looking like he might be who we hope he is

He’s looking even better than I was hoping he would at this point over the last ~6 weeks. Even his outs lately are 100mph+ rockets. I’m quite impressed.

How impressive has Michael Busch been? Came via a low level trade as a 26 year old rookie, after not having any success in a 27 game cup of coffee, and has been one of the best rookies all year in the majors.

I never thought I would say it this year - I am starting to really like this team.

Amazing how little things like winning baseball games and not scoring 3 runs or less in every game can make a dramatic difference in a team’s likability

I don't think that we could have reasonably expected better.

That play by Parades is a good example of why this team has been unlikeable. I can handle losing. I've been a Cubs fan since the 70's. It's the clowning that makes them a tough watch at times

Team is unlikeable because he missed a hard grounder on a short hop?

Just a terrible umpiring inning

and now pitches that were balls for Shota are strikes for Cleveland

Because they've been doing it for most of the year. We were sold pitching and defense. How's that looking? Even in this game. Four runs followed. It isn't because it happened once. It happens often enough that we know what they are. Even if we don't want to admit it.
