Anyone's guess to how long before pretty much everything is sold out?

I think a lot of people were throwing away their tickets rather than go to that October 3rd game. #-o

They do continuously release tickets, usually shortly before a homestand, throughout the season. Those tickets include some fantastic seats, too, so don't despair if you didn't land any in this first go-around. You probably will be out of luck for the super-premium Saturday games unless you go the broker/ebay/scalper route (or sometimes the SRO route). C'est la vie!

My family and I stopped going to Wrigley a few years ago. Now we catch 'em at Wrigley North, a.k.a Miller Park.

Just got seats today. Sept. 21st & 22nd, great seats--infield diamond box, face value. Can't beat it.

Maybe I'll go through the fight to get tix at Wrigley one of these years. I've been to dozens of games in Chicago in my years, but now it's just so much easier and closer to go to Milwaukee.

Go Cubbies!

YEAH! just bought some cheap seats to the Padres game in April (which were already value dates) 33$ for 2 tickets. :D

I just got three for Houston 9/23.

The computer tells you no seats available for that many

so I called the 1-800 # and after several redials I finally

got a human and she offered several options. Two in one

row, 1 right in front of them, Sec. 219. Sweet!

Just wanted to let the local Cubs fans know that you can call up the Cubs at (866) 808-0890 and have your order changed from regular mail to will call if you want. Tickets will be available to be picked up starting March 15th. Just have the confirmation numbers and dates of the games handy.

So I could pick up all the games at will call on march 15? How does the payments work out, do they credit my cc? This could be worth many many old styles.

Yeah, you can pick up all of the games at will call starting March 15th. There's no price difference, though. Both standard mail and will call officially don't have a delivery fee. Rather, they have a $3.00 "order processing" fee (it was $2.50 last year, I believe).

Ahh, then what was that "tickets at home" thing that was $2.50?

That's the first year that the Cubs are using it and for now, it's only for bleacher tickets. The Cubs/tickets.com will email or open up a link to a picture file of the tickets for the people who chose this method. They then download and print the images, which includes a barcode. Those sheets of paper are scanned at the bleacher gate just like regular tickets. Of course, you don't want that picture file to fall into the wrong hands, as the first barcode that is scanned will be accepted. If someone else got a hold of that somehow (like they had access to your computer) and tried to enter the bleachers before you, you'd be out of luck.

Any chance I can get those changed to will call too? For some reason I didn't think I could pick up the will call tix until near the game which would be a pain.

I'd imagine so. I guess this year, FedEx is not a requirement (it's not even an option) for bleacher tickets if you don't want will call. I'm not sure if you'd get the $2.50 refund, though, but you probably would.

I didn't think you could pick up will call tickets this early, either. When you call up, they may ask you why you didn't select will call to begin with. That's what I told them. Apparently, it does say on the ticket selection screen, but there's no way I was going to take the time to read the fine print when I was trying to rush through on Friday and grab tickets.

Jon,

If I paid for the 3-Day delivery with one order and the rest were regular mail, do you think I could call and have the rest of my tix sent with the 3-Day delivery?

Doubtful. At the convention, Maloney said that shipments could be combined in response to a question about having to pay multiple FedEx fees ($15 each order), but nothing was said about other shipping methods. I'm not sure that they'd be able to do that, but it's worth a shot.

I picked up my tickets at will call today. I'm happy. I did want to let the local folks know that there may be some limited view doubles available for the May 20th White Sox game and for the September Cardinals series. The person in front of me asked about those games and that's what the ticket rep said. If you're interested, you may want to call over the phone or head on down to the box office tomorrow.

I'm curious to see if anyone has picked up their tickets through will call already. I'm planning on picking them up tomorrow but its not exactly an easy drive for me to pick them up. March 15th was the date given to pick up tickets after but I was curious to see if anybody had anyway to confirm their order would be ready before they went to pick it up. It was really be a pointless trip for me to make if my tickets weren't ready. Thanks in advance.

I picked up a bunch yesterday. Just bring your order numbers, a photo ID and the credit card of purchase and you're all set.

Do you really need the credit card of purchase. I remember the first time I purchased online and went through the will-call process; I made sure I had all that stuff. But I didn't need the CC, so the last few times I've never bothered.

Some will check, others won't. They didn't check when I picked them up on the 15th, but you never know.

Anyone have any success on the dugout and bullpen seats? I was on Spring Break last week and didnt notice any discussion of it in this thread. I got some value date in April against the Padres, since I cannot afford 250 a seat.

Yes, you do. I picked mine up on the 16th and they actually ran the card thru to get the tickets that were purchased against it. They said this was a new way this year. They didn't need the order numbers (I brought all my email confirmations because last year I needed thoses), but they did need the credit card.
