This is such a waste of time every year...

I end up going to a ton of Cub games, with good seats. Obviously I won't get to go to Cubs/SAWKS (unless I pawn a ticket off someone here or through a broker (this scenario is not going to happen) ) but I'll still go to a ton of games, and I don't have to waste an entire morning getting shut out. The only way I'd do it is in person, get a wristband and hope for the best..

Btw, I have one window open.

Good morning for me took me about 30 minutes to get tickets to four games w/ 35 windows open.

4- 6/12 Red Sox

4 - 5/8 Phillies (the weekend of my birthday)

6 - 9/17 Cards

6 - 8/28 Ryno Day

All bleachers of course, hopefully I can sell a few of them so I can go to all four games for free. Hey, if they are goin to be there might as well take advantage of the "yuppy wanna be fans." (nobody on this site fits that description I am sure). But if you want a couple to one of those games PM me with an offer.

Mizzou,

I'm in Columbia, Mo too. Depending on if friends crap out on me when the games roll around, I may end up with tickets if you're interested.

Man I would definitely be interested. Let me know if you ever have any tickets to spare.

I've gotten through 3 times using only about 15 windows. Maybe that's better than 50 or 60?

I don't think it matters. It's like every lottery - you need to have about 100,000 entries to up your chances of winning by single digit percentage points.

well i was thinking that if it's freezing up or not resetting for people with that many windows open, maybe 15ish is better? don't know, just saying that's how i've been lucky.

Also on a side note. You can pickup your bleacher tickets either through will call or printing them out at home. Printing them out charges a small fee but will call is FREE.

For tickets other than bleachers, theres will call, mail, and fedex or something. Will call and mail are both FREE.

Looks like I'll be getting crap seats in the last row of the upper deck for some game against the nationals (expos) like I did last year.

Dude, instead of doing that, just wait till later. I got very good to great day of game tickets to several games last year. I am almost positive they don't offer all the tickets up for sale this early...

(a) We know who the Nats are. ;)

(b) No you won't, because that's the holiday weekend (4th of July).

Wow, I got REALLY lucky.

I opened 25 windows, and seriously 5 minutes later one of them went through! I've got 4 tickets to the 8/28 Ryne Sandberg game!!!!!!!!

I actually meant wait till later as in more well into the season. You can usually get far better seats than last row of upper deck just by walking up to the ticket window on the morning of the game...I've never had a problem.

I understand the big fuss about the Red Sox and White Sox games, but otherwise, I don't think there's any rush. You'll be fine later... :)

4 Upper Deck Box (Sec 427) tix for Sunday, July 31 vs. ARZ. . . the only game I could go to this season, so I'm grateful. Really wanted Field Boxes, though. :P

I had about 25 windows going, only the one successful hit. Keep trying folks, you can do it!
