Only been 2 months, just a bad stretch

Where does our starting pitching rank? I know our record going in to today is 11-9 in games our staff allowed 3 runs or less. Rest of the league is winning at a .890 clip in those types of games.

Of course diving catch lol

Followed by Bellinger hitting the ball harder than anyone on STL has today and it's a routine out

Should have horsefeathers stole 3rd. Worst BA in baseball over the last 7 weeks. You have a guy in the game that is 12-12 on SB. They already threw back to 2B twice as Bellingers AB was going. I understand Bellinger is your cleanup hitter but the whole team can’t hit just horsefeathers get him to third and hope for a productive out, which is exactly what Bellinger did.  But of course the heart of the order failed and the Cubs are on their way to yet another 1 run loss with virtually no offense

If they don’t pull this one out, it will be nine of 10 series lost with the only win coming against the White Sox. And they had to come from behind to win each of those games.

This is bad bad bad.

Sad that I feel more confident about Happ, Nico and Busch coming up than I was about Morel, Bellinger and Seiya. And I have no confidence in all with Nico right now.

Busch and Happ are the only batters on the team I'm actually confident in right now. Varying degrees of hopeful for a few of the others, but not close to confident.

The amount of times our guys have just watched a center cut pitch and then swung at flaming garbage the next pitch is very high today. Admittedly that last one might have been a hit and run

It's like when I played MVP Baseball on rookie mode just to make myself feel better and would throw every single pitch straight down the middle. The other team would quickly make outs so I could go hit again
