Wasn't that the 2nd or 3rd time Busch made a bad throw on a pick off, can he not throw ?

Can’t scoop the ball either…

That was a hell of a take for ball 4. So much trust in the umpire to make the right call there.

Sometimes the "deer in headlights" approach works out.  Stopped clock etc. etc.

3rd time in 5 innings the Cubs have had a runner in scoring position, 0 runs scored.  Meanwhile the Reds have only had a baserunner in 1 of their 4 innings so far and 1 total hit but lead 2-0.

The combination of ineptitude and terrible luck is astounding.

horsefeathers hell we have some low IQ players. Have great AB’s, get the bases loaded and the next hitter swings for the fencers on the very first pitch faced for a pop out. It’s ridiculous how often we get players on base and that happens to ruin the entire inning.

Don't mistake decision making for execution, Bellinger had terrible trouble picking up the breaking ball, was sitting fastball(especially with bases loaded and following the walk), and got a good pitch to hit.

There is NOTHING compelling about this team right now. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. The only conceivable hope we can hold onto is the kids in the system, and although I am not as bullish on them as some, if this team continues to trend downward, I hope we'll get a look at some of them and see what we actually have.

Okay, very harsh of me. This team is very frustrating right now. The first month was great, let’s get back to that…

Getting abused by every central division team . Bad defense , baserunning , bullpen , offense . Great job. Hoyer building this dumpster fire of a roster .  The 2050 payroll doesn’t have any money on the books , so everything is fine .
