I tried to mostly keep quiet when Happ was struggling and everyone wanted him booted off the team.  Maybe I said a thing or two out of frustration but I thought the discourse was a bit over the top (not just here, Cubs Twitter was actually much worse).

Don't get me wrong, Happ is a flawed player and I can totally understand people wishing we didn't extend him for a variety of reasons.  But I always expected Happ to come back around this year and he clearly has.  He's a solid major league hitter and has value to this team. We seemingly go through this cycle every year with Happ.
