Glad I'm not alone! It's such as weird little motion

Yeah, he’s got that big leg kick, but then short arms everything and is still hitting 100 mph.

A lot of hard hit balls this inning against Hendricks, feels like he really struggles the second turn through the lineup

That's what happens when you suck.

The fearsome trio of Profar, Kim and Campusano are 5-5 thus far, yeah, Hendricks is cooked.  Can't keep giving him starts, you're guaranteed to be down multiple runs when he' on the mound.

Yep. Back to back over 100mph, one a triple, and the other an almost triple.

Can’t really keep a guy in the rotation if they struggle after a single turn. If Brown is still pitching well when Taillon comes I hope they consider it instead of just keeping Hendricks in the rotation just because of what he’s done in the distant past.

Man, Kyle just can't seem to sustain his performance this year.  Even in the spring, he would look great for a few innings and then things would fall apart.  Hopefully he can figure things out soon.

Exactly if you can't make it past 3 innings without getting tattooed you blow.

Hendricks has given up 2 hard hit balls in 4 innings, his runs allowed for today falls squarely in the unlucky bin.

Eh, I think to a degree. I'll give him the early runs were a bit of bad luck. The last two runs were well earned; 91 EV (.970 xBA) single, 102 EV (.790 xBA) double, scores previous hit and 103 EV (.940 EV) triple, scores after ground ball. Those two runs weren't bad luck.

Right, I’m not saying Hendricks deserves 0 ER, though you could argue the only 3 well struck balls being in consecutive PA is at least a little unfortunate.  It’s that the perception that Hendricks is pitching badly(his 9.00 ERA today) is a function of misfortune rather than him actually getting battered around for 4 innings.

Really more disgusted about Monday than this game.

I’m still pissed about Monday. This game should just be gravy

That seems to be the story for him lately though, whether they hit it hard or soft they're finding holes, and usually the hard ones ends up over the fench.

Problem with Hendricks now is he just can't pitch around those hits and get himself out of jams anymore and those dinks and doinks are being followed by a kaboom.
