The cubs get thrown out on the bases on run scoring hits way too often it feels like. I mean it’s fine we scored 4 runs, and it’s possible the adventurous baserunning is partially to make sure the runner scores (I think?) but it’s always slightly annoying.

Going to assume it’s one of those things that’s more common than you think, you just notice it more because of how much you disproportionately watch the cubs. And then probably be proven wrong when someone actually does the research.

Nice seeing their young arms having some good success at the major league level now and also seeing how good the young top hitters are doing in Iowa so far.

Be interesting to see what they do when those guys are ready to come up

Brown needs to get a little action on his FB. Velocity is great but it’s straight as arrow.
