What a catch Tauchman. Wow!!

Also pretty sure I saw Madrigal in the handshake line? I’m guessing he will be activated tomorrow?

Yeah that was madrigal, they mentioned on the broadcast that he'll be activated soon, probably tomorrow

I was blacked out tonight. Had to go with streameast. My ears were bleeding listening to Chip Caray. He’s so bad.

Jesus that was the greatest back to back defensive sequence I've maybe ever seen in baseball.

The double play is going to get overshadowed, and understandably so, but that double play was spectacular and one that rarely gets turned.

This didn't clinch a division but very reminiscent of Jon Jay in 2017.  I believe that would have been a walkoff loss if it wasn't caught that time too.

Edit: wait maybe it wasn't Jon Jay

It was Leonys Martin and would've tied the game.

Also the Cubs has clinched the night before. The catch eliminated the Cards, which this one may have essentially done as well.

Ross got bailed out big time. You do NOT bunt with a guy on second. Alzolay was missing his spots all day, and was saved by great plays by Swanson, Hoerner and Tauchman. Again Ross is a terrible manager.

Hats off to Wesneski and Smyly. Things could have went bad for Wes after the leadoff homer, but he locked it in. Smyly coming in and pitching well. 10 K’s between the two of them.
