I thought the career achievement had to happen while with that team. Bummer. 8/9.

Lowest % was 6 today.

I believe the rule is if it's something done in a single season (All-Star, Gold Glove, 30 SB) then it has to have happened with that team, but if it's a career number it doesn't have to be.

Took one look and suddenly realized that my general hockey knowledge ended in about 1998. I know those two logos are for the Predators and the Wild, but I couldn’t name a single player that ever played for either team.

wow Baseball Reference bought it, that's fun

I think they were already using BR as their resource (the photos matched with the BR photos).

Yeah. I looked up the Dodgers after the fact and was not particularly ashamed of having missed it.

the 2nd one today I did pretty well at.  Pretty sure it's my best rarity score yet at 58

Spoiler

JD Martinez/Darryl Strawberry/Maury Wills

Beltran/Doc Gooden/Lou Gehrig

Joe Morgan/Tug McGraw/Richie Ashburn

I've found that the older players are, the less they're used even if they were huge stars.  I used Frank Robinson for CIN/BAL earlier today and he was at like 5%

I got 8/9 and it drove me nuts I couldn't think of Phillies/Mets. If I had I would've gotten a sub-200 rarity score, which I've never done.

Spoiler

Josh Reddick/Piazza/Jackie Robinson

Randy Johnson/John Olerud/Gehrig

Bobby Abreu/blank/Jimmy Rollins

The new feature where they give you the most popular answer in each square is a great way to hate yourself when you can't think of anyone.

I was surprised that there were 14, 14, and 17 players for the teams listed that had done it.

Spoiler

I guessed Corey Seager first and the Maury Wills and that cost me the immaculate grid.

I've noticed that too. I used Willie Mays for some really obvious square for him to be in a few days ago (Giants MVP, I believe) and it was under 15%

I thought about Olerud and had no memory of him being a Yankee.

only 11 total ROY winners between the Sox and Mariners... I guessed all 4 of those as well.
D'backs only have 9 with 100 rbi seasons and Marlins with 13, but at least they're a bit easier since they're more recent

Took one guess towards the WS ROY and gave up on that. Also didn't get Miami/Seattle

Before wasting me guesses on ROTY

I got 7/9, didn't even get to the point of making an Arizona/Seattle guess or a White Sox ROTY guess. Wasted a guess on incorrectly writing a 100-RBI Mariners guy into a ROTY Mariners square.

Backed myself into some trouble by making Ichiro the Mariners ROY pick, and then got stumped for a few minutes on the Marlins/Mariners player until Logan Morrison came to me.

Also poor White Sox, all 3 of their boxes have really low accuracy numbers (49%, 49%, 53%)

I had the same problem, had some sweaty palms when I got the White Sox ROY right, and then I was down to Mariners/Marlins for 9/9 and it took me ages to get to Jean Segura

Today's grid has my mind spinning. I have so many "mmmmmaybe?" guesses in my head and I'm too much of a coward to try any of them

EDIT: Well, one of them (SF/SD) turned out correct, the other ones did not. 6/9
