The Tony Kemp poster should be an oral history of his effort on the Gomes single.

I mean, do you expect him to BEND OVER?  He has a family to think about.

He’s not a good announcer.

How much longer do we have to listen to him? When will JD be back?

Presumably the next series when they're back at Wrigley

That was quite a fun inning. Nico and Happ are a heck of a lot of fun to watch right now. Really nice to see Bellinger looking like a version of himself again.

More than just Nico and Happ, the Cubs 1-3 looks like it's going to be a real problem for other teams.  If Seiya can take the step forward that we all hope for, Bellinger continues to show signs that he is closer to his MVP form, and Wisdom puts up anything close to his current numbers, suddenly this is a really potent lineup.

Then all they have to do is give up on the Hosmer experiment and call up Mash.

There's 2 or 3 potential all stars in there

That outfield wall extending up vertically in the deepest part of the park.

Funny enough, that hit was only a HR at 3/30 parks and not Wrigley:

I guess they all made contact instead of striking out, but man that was pretty brutal stuff right there. Especially with two of the hitters being Nico and Dansby.

They may be better but they're still the Cubs so of course they have to load the bases with 0 outs and not score lol.

Very consistent too there. Two grounders to SS and one to 3B.

Good thing they’re up 5 or that would annoy me more.

Oh shut up Sutcliffe.  The Cubs have a lead so Wesneski is supposed to just start grooving fastballs?

He’s insufferable.
