How the hell do you give him 1B on that?  Even if the ump doesn't notice he's got a foot out of the box, he got in the way of the ball

Man it seems so weird to see a LHH hitting a grounder to the spot Barnhardt just did and getting it through the infield.  My first thought was "easy out"  #byeshift

The one negative about Swanson so far is he's put the ball on the ground A LOT.  You take it with everything else he's done so far, but if the contact goes south while this sticks around.....

Cole Ragans sounds like the main character in a Justified knock-off that's being very careful to not get sued for IP Infringement

Ive been blacked out of every game this season on MLB.tv here in south Florida. I guess to be fair I didnt try opening day because I was at work. But Ive tried and been blacked out of every game since. I know this one is because of appleTV, but the other ones really surprised me. Have the blackout rules gotten more restrictive? This is horsefeathers.

Holy crap. My wife, sensing my frustration over mlb.tv, got the free 7 day trial of apple.tv. She pulls the game up on her phone and it works no problem. Then we get out the little cord/connector to connect her phone with HDMI to my TV. Then we get an error that says “this event is not able to be broadcast to another device.”. So, I can watch it on my phone but not my TV. And there is no apple.tv app on my tv, already checked. I’ve got patience for this to happen about 1 more time before i’m just not a fan anymore. horsefeathers your blackouts mlb.

The apple TV stuff is dumb and probably how it's "supposed" to work, but you shouldn't have been blacked out for any of the other games.  Might be worth contacting them about it.  Only potential reason that comes to mind is if your billing address is still in the Chicago area, but that shouldn't matter to my knowledge.  Maybe a VPN messing with things?

barnhart facing a lefty late in a tight game with two guys on base seems like the very exact reason the cubs are carrying three catchers.

Jed seems to be good at a lot of things, but identifying utility infielders may not be his strongest suit.

But nice of Mastro to get the average back above .100

Assad in the 9th maybe?

That would surprise me.  I'm either expecting Boxberger or Fulmer to try to go 2, but of the 7 still available the only ones I'm sure aren't coming in are Rucker and Merryweather.

Fulmer again.  Rossy really loves his relievers going 2 innings in close games.
