I used to think the Brewers were almost gaming the system with how they built their teams to maximize run prevention.  Now it seems like the Cubs are the ones doing that and the Brewers have a bunch of dumb fielders running around.

Since this is a general chat thread during the games, I wanted to share that I went down a rabbit hole of old NSBB posts yesterday, and in one of the threads you were asking about how to calculate OBP.  Obviously this was 19 years ago and you have to start somewhere, but was crazy for me to see knowing what a god of analytics and good baseball takes you turned into.

Edit: Specifically you were not aware that a SF adversely affected OBP

That is extremely flattering to the point of making me uncomfortable, but the takes being simple/bad is unsurprising.  I remember one of my earliest posts advocating for trading for Lew Ford as the CF of the future. Curiosity and posting through it can take you a long way!
