Only because it's you (because yeah, it was a funny and appropriate joke), but you're aware that Seiya Suzuki exists right?  Just making sure.

Nothing can convince me that Rowdy Tellez isn't a slow pitch softball player who just showed up one day and talked his way into an MLB lineup

It’s utterly perfect that a guy who looks like that and has the name Rowdy is on the Brewers, though.

I’m still not convinced that he and Vogelbach aren’t the same person.

oh do you not like the classic sound of Randy Arozarena walking to the fence to sign autographs during the WBC

sounds better than having to watch Jacob Degrom throw a bullpen session in spring training, which has been shown 4 times

Is Dellin Betances really the example Girardi wants to use to set Cubs fans’ minds at ease about Keegan’s velocity issues?

”He was slow during Spring Training, but would then be up at 99 by the start of the season…”

And then his arm fell off at age 30.

I don't know, man.  Like 5 solid seasons of truly elite pitching seems like much more than you can ask for.  He doesn't look like a cautionary tale to me at all.

Sorry but Girardi brings nothing to the table for me.  There is absolutely no need for a 3rd person in the booth unless it's a guest appearance for 1 inning.

Swanson is crushing the ball today.

Update:  5 hits in all of Spring training, 3 hits and a .790 xBA flyout in his first 4 PA of the regular season.

Zero need whatsoever. Even more so now with the pitch clock.

Marquee has one of the very best in the business in JD, a rock-solid PBP guy in Boog, and the two seem to have a solid rapport. Just let them cook.
