It’s utterly perfect that a guy who looks like that and has the name Rowdy is on the Brewers, though.

I don't know, man.  Like 5 solid seasons of truly elite pitching seems like much more than you can ask for.  He doesn't look like a cautionary tale to me at all.

Sorry but Girardi brings nothing to the table for me.  There is absolutely no need for a 3rd person in the booth unless it's a guest appearance for 1 inning.

Update:  5 hits in all of Spring training, 3 hits and a .790 xBA flyout in his first 4 PA of the regular season.

Zero need whatsoever. Even more so now with the pitch clock.

Marquee has one of the very best in the business in JD, a rock-solid PBP guy in Boog, and the two seem to have a solid rapport. Just let them cook.
