In person, the team looked a lot sharper in it's physical movement and fundamentals than I expected. No stats to back this statement up, the energy, rhythm, and approach, just seemed right. Felt like midseason.

Having actual ML players at all the positions on the field probably has something to do with that.  Even Hosmer and Wisdom both had important defensive plays in spite of lackluster days at the plate.

I probably elicit eye rolls with my constant praise of Hottovy, but this was really impressive.  Not only how fast they fixed Keegan, but the fact that they had the confidence to bring him up north even though he hadn't shown it in a game yet.

Yes, he really seems like he knows what he's doing. I hope they pay him well and keep him when they eventually fire Ross.
