Eberflus is a [expletive]. I would have thrown on 3rd down and went for it on 4th down

Not a huge deal but up 3 scores with 5 mins left, let’s play loose as Aikman said.

The good news is Bears dominating all phases.

Bad news is this second half will really tamp down the NE QB controversy.

No it won't. Jones will continue to be bad.

I just assumed they were going to run the play. There isn’t a reason not to.

I'm absolutely not upset about the playcalling down the stretch - if the Patriots can't stop the run game, you keep running.

But its a shame that Fields doesn't get another opportunity to throw this half.

I think the lesson for Belichick here is don’t get cute with your QBs. He probably destroyed both QBs by making his move

Neither are franchise QBs, it gives every horsefeathers fan there a reason to yell and think they're being heard.

If it’s possible to be upset after a 33-14 win, I am. I wanted that 40 spot so bad. It’s not disrespectful to run on 4th down when you can’t fully run out the clock

*im not REALLY upset

Oh, I'm sure Zappe is fine. I thought he was fairly impressive on the whole, that dude can be deadly accurate when he wants to be.

If Fields played like this every week, there'd be a lot less controversy. Plenty of flaws and mistakes, but also plenty of good plays.

The whole thing about Belichick being bad against running QBs proved true but the Bears ran more QB runs tonight than the rest of the season combined, and it worked. They also rolled him out quite a bit. He still struggled under center (I think) but the Bears built a game plan that emphasized his strengths and it worked

His best play was a terrible pass
