i kind of do, now that zach has proven he's still great. lonzo's 20 mil hurts, but i think they could put a 50 win team out there next year with some good moves. it starts with trading demar and adding shooters. the defense is there and coby is showing some signs. i think a new coach could also do wonders, but billy seems pretty locked in here.

I could buy it if they had a first round draft pick in 2023, but, well, yeah. They're also too talented to pull off a successful tank for the 2024 draft.

Maybe they can pull something out of a hat in the offseason, but I just feel like they're doomed for NBA purgatory for the foreseeable future.

When considering tanking remember the Bulls also don’t have their 2025 1st. Obviously it has protections but there’s a decent chance you lose it.

Zach may have managed to rebuild his value and even improve on it after how he’s finished the season.  I don’t necessarily want to tank but strongly consider trying to see what you can get for Zach, DeMar and Caruso. The problem is Vucevic, Coby White and Ayo (who has cratered anyways) are 3 additional guys who could bring back worthwhile returns but they are all FA so it would have to be S&T.

if they decide to keep going (and they will) I’m really not sure what you do. They keep talking about resigning Vuc which seems ridiculous as it locks them into being a team bumping up against the tax and also leans you let Coby and Ayo go and bring back an even worse team. But if you S+T him what moves are you going to make to get better than a Bulls team with Vuc?

This team has legit purposely put themselves in inescapable NBA hell and seems to be proud of it. Only hope is we lose in the play-in and luck into Wemba (currently a 2.2% chance)

friday will be 30 years since this happened. I remember I was in bed and I heard my dad yell and I came out to see what happened. a million bucks for 1 shot was crazy then

Is anyone actually going to watch this game tonight and if so is there any excitement for it?

Normally with a loser goes home type of game I'd be sad about the possibility of the season being over, but I really don't think I'll care much if we never see this Bulls team after tonight lol

this is an issue with the nba for me - the better team is usually clear and they generally win in the playoffs. I know, there are big upsets periodically but does anyone really believe the bulls can go on a run if they win today?

So, to generate any excitement for this game, one has to believe they are an up and coming team and be excited about how far they can get without ever really believing they have a chance to win it all.

Even more depressing when you realize the Bulls are not at all up and coming and were built to win now

right. I am more excited about the Kings and could see like GS and Lakers fans having some enthusiasm

OK I was a little excited watching that.  Good horsefeathers for Zach to singlehandedly bring the team back.  So we either make the playoffs or we have a 1.5% chance of Wemba, I'll take that lol

That was awesome.  Bulls can definitely beat the heat. Match up with them better.

The loser of the 7/8 game is 1-3 so far in games against the 9/10 winner.  Ridiculously small sample size to take much from it but it kind of makes sense that that team would struggle knowing they had 2 chances to win 1 game and now their down to 1, while the 9/10 winner is coming off a win and has the mentality all along that they needed to win 2 games.

Bulls will probably win, followed by a thrashing from Milwaukee. But I gotta say I enjoyed seeing Zach go nuts in the second half and PW’s defense changed the game in the third quarter.

Reminds me of the Cubs in 2018

I'd bet at least a few of those were missed because of that scream. She's got some pipes.

I understand she begged Dad to let her miss school and come to the game.  She had a plan and executed it perfectly!

Unfortunately DeMar said no missing school for tomorrow's game.

The only thing worse than losing last night's game was winning the game.  Unfortunately, that's what happened, I just don't see the point of winning tomorrow's game, they've no chance whatsoever against the Bucks.  It just a dumb, fruitless exercise, at least, losing last night would have increased their chances at Wemba now, that's out the door.
