The Bulls might be at the same time really good and still the 5th best team in the East. Could sneak into home court in the first round, but they'll have to beat out one of Miami-Philly-Brooklyn-Milwaukee (and Atlanta and New York).

Just when it looked like all momentum was gone they snatched it right back and finished them. Nice road win against a team that had ripped off 7 straight Ws.

DeMarvelous showing out last night was a thing of beauty. He loves playing in his hometown. Hopefully that happens again tonight against AD's team. It will be interesting to see how Donovan uses Coby White tonight. The Bulls really need a 3rd scorer to go with DeRozan & Lavine. Maybe Coby can provide some points off the bench.

As a few commenters have pointed out from time to time in these opening weeks, Chicago was not among the teams I expected to make a charge in the Eastern Conference. I pegged them to finish 11th at 37-45.

 

Oopsie.

 

At no point have they looked anything like an 11th-place team. In fact, from the first minute of the first preseason game (one where they led, 113-72, after three quarters), the Bulls have been non-stop impressive.

 

So I’m gonna throw some Tabasco on this crow and eat it, and it won’t taste great, but it at least will provide some nutrition.
