Ortega turns a 4 or 5 pitch walk into an inning ending groundout.

But I’m so tired of watching them instead of Hoerner and other superior players.

It feels like an organizational failure to rely on Sogard/Alcantara/Lobaton/Oretga in that spot, four guys that probably shouldn't have worn Cubs uniforms this year.

Would sure be nice to have guys like Rizzo, Contreras, Hoerner, Duffy or heck even Bote to bat in those situations instead of Loboton and Ortega. I know Loboton walked but still
