Really thought the Illini we're going to bury them, give OSU credit but, I think the Illini let up a bit. Plus Washington couldn't miss seems for the whole horsefeathering tournament. Hey, Juwan who's the Big Ten Champions?

 

Strange flex since they both are. Stop making me dislike the Illini. I caught myself almost rooting for Ohio State today and had to remind myself that I generally like the Illini and I hate Ohio State. Being an innocent bystander in this Michigan hate fest by Illini fans is frustrating since I just want to enjoy my team

 

It's my dislike of Juwan Howard seemingly ducking those games and dissing Northwestern and Maryland along the way. I don't believe he's this sanctimonious great guy the media falls all over themselves to portray either, I'm probably wrong. It's just my irrational hatred of the Fab Five coming through.

Virginia isn't going to get into Indy until Friday evening and won't have any practice time between now and their game against Ohio.

 

Ohio looks very enticing against Virginia/Louisville.

IU fired Archie Miller. Probably a solid move. I don't think Archie can coach or develop talent well enough. Problem is, I don't know that there's a guy out there that can reasonably put IU basketball back where they want to be.

 

The names are all over the place. Of course everyone wants Oats, Beard, or Scott Drew to leave their jobs, which is extremely unlikely. Dane Fife's name has come up. But people are throwing out old head names, John Beilein and Rick Pitino which are I guess interesting. No idea where they're going to go

If anyone is itching for some +EV action, Draftkings has a March Madness pool with 2 million guaranteed in payouts (1 mil to first) and it almost certainly won't get enough 100 dollar entries to meet that 2 million pool (at just over 7k entries at the moment). They are offering some pretty heinous deals (to me at least) to get it to fill. Might want to check it out if you're a degen.

That's a good guess, do love myself a two hearted. However, for a day of extended day drinking, I gravitate toward session ipas. And today it's a home brew I made.

Very cool, all grain? Brewer my self, all grain, I do smaller batches - 2 gallons - think I'm going to try a recipe I created for a 1 gallon batch of a Scotch Ale. The whole take some of the wort boil it down to a syrup add back, etc.

Nah, I just stick with extract, though I've considered switching. Gonna wait until my kids are a little older. I am looking into building a fermentation chamber though, specifically because of this beer. Recommend fermentation temp for this yeast was 80, and since I couldn't hit it I lost out on some good fruity esters.

All grain does open up more possibilities however, it also introduces more variables and hence, more opportunities for things to go wrong. Good luck with the fermentation chamber, the ability to control that environment would be awesome. By the way, what a sweet pass by Curbelo!
