We manage to score a run in the first, the Hendricks gives up homers to the first 2 Pirate batters and just cruises the rest of the game while we can’t score. You can’t make this stuff up.

 

It would be unbelievable if it wasn’t for that game against the Reds a week or two ago. Reds got two walks and a homer in the first off Darvish and he shut them down after but the Cubs didn’t score.

That’s kinda the whole point. You can only hit so many 95-100+ MPH balls. You don’t control where they go. The Cubs have a good amount tonight.
