Kyle(the good one) makes his last start of Spring Training to tune up for his regular season debut next week.

 

The Pirates, well they sure do suck. They just plain suck. They're the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

 

And we lost to them.

Yesterday our biggest rally started by consecutive HBP’s to start the inning. We obviously didn’t score. Today the big rally was started by a weakly hit grounder perfectly placed down the line and a walk. Also didn’t score.

Today’s Pirates starter came into today with a 6.70 ERA in 10 starts this year.

 

In his previous 5 starts he gave up the following amount of runs:

Sorry for all the negativity, I’m just stunned with how poorly the offense is playing right now. Cubs had the fortune to face 3 struggling starters the last 3 nights and we’ve scored a total of 2 runs against those starters so far. Seriously can’t remember the last time I’ve seen any offense perform this poorly

We’re going to get bounced from the playoffs in the first round because our offense no shows one game and scores 1 run on 4 hits and Ross blows a second game with some dumb pitching moves.

We manage to score a run in the first, the Hendricks gives up homers to the first 2 Pirate batters and just cruises the rest of the game while we can’t score. You can’t make this stuff up.
