lol the White Sox literally scored every single one of their 18 runs this series via HRs. Not sustainable. They faced a great pitcher and had several opportunities where they needed a big hit and couldn’t get it

At the very least, we won the Cease game and Eloy had a

chance in a key spot and couldn’t get it done. In general I wish them both well but I wouldn’t have been able to stomach more discussion about the Quintana trade this week

Every time it comes up, I remember how good he was for us in 17.

 

Also, could be worse, like trading, oh, I don't know, how about Tatis Jr for James Shields.

Someone (hopefully) half-jokingly called the trade the worst since Babe Ruth on The Athletic comments after one of the losses. I thought it was interesting that they invoked Ruth given that Eloy will basically have to hit like him to be valuable given how atrocious he is in the field. He makes Soler look like prime Heyward.

Very true, swinging for the fences every at bat is hot and cold.
