Acuna got plunked. Can’t wait to see which Cardinal gets drilled because you know it’s happening.

I’m sure the Braves catching brain trust of McCann, Flowers And Cervelli will make sure cooler heads prevail

All the crap Cardinal teams that make the playoffs win it all. So we are probably headed that way.

Yep. When they're actually pretty legitimate they get bounced, when they're ridiculous jokes who make it mostly due to other teams' incompetence they're destined to win it all. I've known this was coming since August, unfortunately.

Yep. When they're actually pretty legitimate they get bounced, when they're ridiculous jokes who make it mostly due to other teams' incompetence they're destined to win it all. I've known this was coming since August, unfortunately.

It sucks. Their line up is not overwhelming yet somehow they manage to wine one game at a time. Hopefully just rack this series with the Braves as lightning in a bottle. A seven game set should reveal their weaknesses. Should.

Maybe the Cardinals will be able to fill their stadium finally in the NLCS

I purposely have not followed the NL post season cuz I’m a whiny bastard. Is StL not selling out the stadium?

Schildt had a similar "we don't start horsefeathers but we'll finish it" comment after Hamel's last start in StL where he barely clipped Yadi on a inside pitch. Maybe he's just deploying a "us against the world" appeal to his team. Or he's just easily excitable.

It's funny, Joe Maddon said that same thing when STL sucked us into a beanball war in 2015 and their fans still haven't gotten over it.
