This is a ridiculously good pitching matchup. Darvish is going to need to match zeros I think. Will need to have good ABs again to drive up pitch count.

With Rizzo out you have to make sure Willy’s bat is in there almost every game and he can’t catch every game (especially coming off the hamstring injury), so they pretty much have to play him at 1B some.

I think Caratini is better defensively at either spot, but much more critically at catcher. I seriously doubt Contreras would be worse than merely adequate at 1B.
