Based on what we have seen so far, I'm perfectly ok with him as a cheap #8 hitter playing 2B. Spend money somewhere else.

I think it could work, especially if somewhere else is Betts and Grandal, but in general I'm uncomfortable with non-impact players just being given starting jobs on this team

Trade for Lowrie or Miguel Rojas as a hedge Nico isn’t an everyday guy but he can still be a starter to start the year and they’re better depth than we have now anyways over the Kemp’s/Descalso’s/Almora’s of the world.
