Well, we got to 10 wins and back to .500 after Chatwood somehow pitched his best game in 2 years. Let's start racking up some wins to stay on the plus side of .500 the rest of the year.

It probably means nothing as it’s april but I’d feel better about our chances of being good if we win this series vs a dodgers team playing well

Heyward deserves to bat higher than 8

KB deserves to bat lower than 9

I'll take Kris Bryant over Jason Heyward in any reasonable offensive output statistic for the next week, next month, next whatever, and so would all of you.

BUT...let's inject some hope. Bryant's numbers for the last week:

 

.286 .412 .429 .840

 

And a BAbip of .364 for a guy with a career BAbip of .340.

What are those numbers without that lazy infield pop fly that the wind (and bad defense) turned into a double? I do not feel any encouragement.

I'm pretty sure in that same game he crushed one to right center that would have been a home run in ~75 of the 81 home games.
