You should be invited to be on the Today show for actually performing well at your job, not sucking at your job. But hey, get the kid a participation trophy!

Cut up his kicking tee

It's Pagano for DC. Looked the thought of Donatell, but was afraid he'd be too much like Vic, but not as good.

Pagano will likely be different but still good. HC experience is nice too with Nagy being relatively inexperienced.

Meh. Those IND defenses weren't too inspiring.

Wonder how much turnover there will be. I bet Donatell will be gone.

FWIW, he did have the number one defense in the league by DVOA in 2011.

He also never had the talent the Bears D currently has

Yeah, Ryan Grigson is more to blame for the defensive results than Pagano. He was a terrible GM.

As a head coach, I don't imagine he could focus on the defense as much as he was in charge of the entire team, and it was a team that just had the #1 pick and used it on a face of the franchise QB. So, I imagine a lot of Pagano's focus went toward Luck. His DC, Greg Manusky, was an experienced coordinator with 5-6 years experience so I'm sure he trusted him to handle things on that side....though Manusky was never really anything more than mediocre before, during and after his tenure with Pagano.

The defensive players drafted under Pagano in the first 3 rounds in his first 5 years in Indianapolis.

Bjorn Werner 1st round

DJoun Smith 3rd round

Henry Anderson 3rd round

TJ Green 2nd round

Then in his final year they finally draft 3 defensive players with their first 3 picks.....the year his QB missed the entire season and then they fired him.

I think the only bad thing about this hire, is the Bears will either have significant drop off in 2019 or Pagano will be a HC again in 2020.

Really cheering for the Raiders to choose San Diego to play their games next year since the Bears play the Raiders on the road. To me, there is no other option, so why it's not already a signed deal is beyond me.

Man Nagy was not too happy about our favorite kicker going on TV and he is 100% correct for being pissed off.

? link?

he called it a "me" move more than a "we" move or something like that in the end of season presser today

So I guess the Bears are going to be signing Kareem Hunt soon
“There’s one thing right now with Kareem, and that’s worrying about him as a person,” Nagy said. “You know, I talked to Kareem, and as completely wanting to know how he’s doing. We had a good conversation. Here’s a kid that I spent a year coaching on offense. It’s a tough situation. I wanted to see, making sure that he’s OK, but understanding, too, the situation that happened is unfortunate for everybody, and he knows that. The only thing I cared about when I talked to him was literally his personal life, how he’s doing, and it was a good conversation. He sounded good, but that’s it. I mean, the other stuff, that’s not where it’s at. There’s more to it than the football. So we talked strictly on that.”

Just...no.

You mean you DON'T feel sorry for the professional football player that physically attacked the young girl? Heartless bastard you are. HE IS A VICTIM TOO! [/green font]
