He's balling right now, but we all know Mirotic goes on hot stetches like this and cools down. Solid player, but not a 20 ppg guy.

 

I hope he does well with the Pelicans. AD is one of my favorite players.

The Warriors look even more unstoppable this year. Steph is playing on another level right now and could win another MVP. I think Boogie Cousins will be a nice addition once he's ready. KD looks more comfortable in this offense now.

 

I think Houston is the only team capable of beating them, and they might need to trade for Butler to have a good chance. Also, need CP3 to stay healthy.

Houston’s chance to beat them was last year, I think their window with Harden/CP3 as their guys is effectively closed from ever reaching or winning The Finals

Yeah, I liked the trade at the time but Niko has been pretty great for the Pellies. That pick was potentially a lotto but they really took off when he was acquired.

 

Hutchison is athletic but not sure how much skill is there.

So I’m watching Lakers-Mavs and DeAndre Jordan goes to the free throw line. The graphic says he’s shooting 77% from the line this year. I think, surely this must be a typo. This is a dude who only shot over 50% from the line twice in 10 years and topped out at 58%. Check basketball reference and yep, he’s at 76.5% on the year.

 

Good for him but how come he didn’t learn how to shoot sooner?

Rudy Gobert got tossed in less than 3 minutes tonight. He got called for a foul on the opening tip (can’t remember the last time I’ve seen that) and then was posting up Harden, gave him a little bump and Harden flopped for Gobert’s second foul. Knocked over some water at the scorers table and yelled a couple words at the refs and got tossed.
