How much of this season being no fun is that the Cubs have been so bad in stretches, versus baseball itself just being bad and boring with the lack of action? Is this just what baseball is now? Even when the Cubs were awful in previous years, I can't remember periods like this where every game was maddening to watch. I'm sure it is partially an overaction to the moment, but I do think MLB has a problem.
