Yeah but this is standard for a new kid coming up. It’s a game of adjustments. We have seen that Bote has a good approach and hits the ball hard. If he can make the adjustments he will be more than fine. If he doesn’t, he will be like the hundreds of other kids that come up with a good bat and don’t pan out.

You’re right. The true test of a major league quality hitter is if they can readjust to the pitchers first adjustment to them. Then it’s an arms race for the rest of your career.
