Third time's a charm after missing my first 2 turns through the rotation. Yu Darvish still has nothing on me at least.

 

Let's recap the last week of Cubs baseball:

 

Sunday: shut down by the Nats through 8 2/3 and rescued by Bote's grand slam

Monday: off day

Tuesday: shut out by the Brewers, 7-0

Wednesday: miraculously scored 8 runs, including 5 on non-homers, the ONLY non-homer runs of the entire week!

Thursday: won 1-0 on a solo HR

Friday: won 1-0 on a solo HR

Saturday: lost 3-1 with a solo HR

 

Record in that span: 4-2. Pretty amazing.

 

Quintana gets back on track today and the bats break out. Cubs win 9-1.
