Ross does have some extreme splits..... mid .800 ops against LHB and mid .500s vs RHB. But still, LaStella is a travesty at 3B

Unless there's some kind of leadoff spot-exclusive sorcery involved in Rizzo not being terrible, it would probably behoove them to not having a guy who went .293 .394 .478 .873 last month not hitting right after the damn pitcher's spot more often than not.

He says he's comfortable hitting there. Impossible to quantify the impact, if any, of that but considering every time we put him there he seems to rake, I'm fine with it. I'm more sick of seeing Heyward hitting 3rd. He's starting to hit like old Heyward again (.635 OPS last 13 games) and even if he settles into something inbetween torrid hot Heyward and 2016-2017 Heyward that's not really worth hitting in the top 6 of the order.

Yes, and for most of July they weren't doing that, hence, again, "more often than not."
