That was so predictable.

Thank God we fired our sell out for power hitting coach so we could be every bit as horsefeathering terrible in key spots but with no power.

We look terrifyingly like last year’s Red Sox.

the lousy pitching against the reds is one thing, with so much of the bullpen hurt and chatwood unavailable, but the offense being this lousy is pretty maddening since there haven't been that many injuries.

Pretty sure it's the players now and not the hitting coach

4 years of constantly being toward the bottom of the league in these situations. Changed hitting coaches and it’s only seemed to get worse. What will fix it? Actually changes to the core?

There is no rational explanation for it. It's not like our hitters look any different or visibly change much as far as I can tell. They just stop getting hits, or even productive outs, doing whatever it is they're doing.

Might as well give up a meaningless run if your Wilson now then in a more important spot in the future.

Oh he'll do that too

I still refuse to believe that it’s a real thing and it’s more some weird noise and that since we get on base so much the chances are just there more to horsefeathers up

Right and if it was just this year or this year and last you’d have more patience for it to correct itself. But they were average in 2016 and bottom 5 in 2015 as well. And Theo specifically pointed to situational hitting when adding Chili so he understands there is something broken. So far it hasn’t been fixed so now what?

I would like to get one starter, one reliever and two good offensive players before the deadline.

That’s not too much to ask.

Darvish, Carl, Morrow and KB. Just like a big mid season acquisition!
