If you’re that worried Javy can’t get him in there just PH Zobrist

Yeah, that would actually have been a good idea.

Although I suppose Javy is usually a good bunter.

I don’t care how good a bunter he is. That’s a stupid move there, let him swing or PH if you don’t like his contact chances

Tough to disagree.

For the millionth time, thank god we won the 2016 World Series.

Absolutely. Although I suppose it doesn't mean they have to be so blah for so many stretches when they should have the best record in the NL.

Addison Russell starts to cost money next year. He's really good on defense, but his offense blows. Not sure the Orioles would even really be that excited.

I know I’m the Addy apologist here. But he had a low-mid .700 OPS like 3 days ago and is/was at a mid 4 win pace. He’s walking more and striking out less than ever. He hit a ball that’s an XBH like 99.9% of the time tonight. That swing was ugly but it is Andrew Miller..... it mostly like seemed like an outside fastball that all the sudden started moving late and he had to emergency swing it.

All squibs and minimal power. He's basically Mr. Cub these days.

I understand. But he's still really mostly poop on offense. I give him credit for looking good at times before slumping, but he's still underwhelming and I'm not sure how much value he really has around the Majors considering his cheap years are expiring.

But they'll win a game soon by something, like, 18-3, so it'll all be OK.

They’re gonna win this game

Back in 2016, that worked a lot. But like the Cubs, there has been some regression the past few years.
