They're 31-13 vs non-Cubs teams. That's a .704 winning percentage, which would be the best in baseball.

Like, okay, we knew they were a solid team and maybe they're a little better than that, but come on. This would be like the Astros being 41-3.

The collapse is going to be hard, like the 2008 housing market. It might take us to the second half again but it's a house of cards.

They're also 13-5 in one run games. There might be a little extra juice there on account of their vaunted bullpen, but record in ine run games is the quintessential luck stat that basically always normalizes eventually (except the Orioles that one year).

They’re also 18-19 when they’re not playing the three worst teams in the NL and the Royals. I mean, those wins still count but they’re not going to keep that up against crappy teams either.

Based on the constantly shifting declarations on this board of just who the "bad teams" actually are, the Brewers will start playing the genuinely tougher teams...*checks schedule*...next year.

No no no, Ronald Acuña might have just broken his ankle.

Well, he’s walking off on his own power now. Watch the replay at your own peril.

Looks like he might have hyperextended his knee.
