I love Forte, Peanut, M Brown, Urlacher, Walter, Dent, Hampton, Fencik, Plank, so many. They all were players i loved to watch. They all had their moments, I don’t know how you take any if them and hold them above the others.

Pace preaching the careful route in Free Agency AGAIN, is making me throw up a little bit. Its one thing if he was good at this approach, but he's not.

They need to get some big guys this year.

You can't do anything but preach being careful in free agency.

You know what I mean though. He's got to land an impact talent or two, PLUS the mid tier guys he's gotten in the past.

We'll most likely suck again?

I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're fine with that. Right or wrong, they could easily decide this is one more developmental year.

I really hope you're wrong. But, I guess it wouldn't surprise me.

It's a first year head coach after 2 consecutive short term guys. It's a developmental year regardless. Pace got his extension to match Nagy and they both will have a chance to use Mitch for the next two years. They'd have to go -1 - 17 to make changes.

Not sure if you guys want a thread about the combine so ill just post this here

OT Jaryd Jones Smith is 6'7 and set a combine record with a 7'4 wingspan. Also ties Dwight Howard for biggest in NBA measured. My goodness.

If he could catch the ball, he’d be a phenomenal goal line TE

Howard may not be a great fit for the offense, and I actually want Landry too. (Probably in the minority there)

But, I'd want their 2nd, instead of the 3rd, to get me on board with this.

Id feel better about it if I felt I could get that RB in rd 2. Most mocks I see say a run on RB early in the 2nd before our pick. It would open up our 1st pick to CB/OL/what have you

Have to look at it as a 2 part deal.

Howard for Landry (assuming that this deal is based that Landry signs a long term deal)... I'm just "meh" with that part even though we're freeing up a lot of money for the Dolphins. I still want something more because of that.

Then it's 8th for the 11th and their 3rd. It's a nice offer, but it's not enough to pull the trigger right now IMO. It either needs to be a 2nd or they have to add like a future 2nd or 3rd.

So Howard + 8th pick for Landry + 11th + 3rd this year + future 2nd or 3rd sounds about right.

I'd generally be okay with trading Howard for the right package. He's a one-dimensional player that doesn't really fit in Nagy's system. But the proposed trade would be asinine. Landry isn't worth what he's going to be paid.

I don't know if one dimensional is quite fair, but yea, he sucks at catching the ball.

I've read elsewhere, not sure if it's true, but supposedly Nagy called the most shotgun runs in the league last year. Highest yards/rush out of shotgun: Jordan Howard. So I'm not sure the fit thing us true.

That said, it's just hard to trust RB longevity, do I'm not tied to Howard if the right deal existed to capitalize in him.
