Jimmy Garrapalo and Jay Ajayi with new homes ahead of the trade deadline (3pm Chicago time today). Jay should just walk away from the Dolphins if Landry gets traded today, also.

That takes SF out of the QB hunt cone draft-time.

He’s a FA after the end of this year. I’m sure the plan is to extend or franchise. But if he sucks out loud for the last half of the year, they could cut bait at no cost and draft a qb.

Unless the Bears really liked one of the available WR probably best they stood pat if this was the going rate. Gotta think Hilton would be as much or more and Landry similar. Hold the picks and spend on WRs this offseason when there’s a real good class.

I'm sitting here reading about this Browns debacle, and I guess I have to be thankful I'm not a Browns fan. They have drafted Kizer (2nd, 2017) while also trading for Osweiler, Cody Kessler (3rd, 2016) while also signing RGIII. They traded the rights to the 12th overall pick in 2017 (DeShawn Watson) and the 2nd overall pick in 2016 (Carson Wentz). They also used the 22nd pick overall in 2014 on Johnny Manziel and the 22nd overall pick in 2012 on Brandon Weeden. At least Colt McCoy was a 3rd rounder. Brady Quinn was also a 22nd overall pick.

I haven't decided if trading a 2nd and 3rd rounder for AJ McCarron was better than being late at the deadline and the deal falling through. That's a lot to give up for a guy who is a free agent at the end of the year where he could be signed without giving up any picks. It's not like they are in a playoff hunt or something. Unbelievable that the firings haven't already begun this am.

I have Hopkins and Fuller (of course, I'm also 3-5, so who cares). But really it just sucks because Watson is fun as hell to watch.
