I’m going to keep watching because it’s the last chance for a while and there’s still things to take away. Also I hope the tactician leaves Kershaw in too long and his back gives out.

Now in true 2015 NLCS form I’ll call for the meaningless 8th inning monster HR by KB after swinging like puke all series

That is absolutely going to happen.

This seems hopeless but no need to overreact. This team will basically be the same next year. The offense is playing unimaginable badly right now for their level of talent.

As far as being the same next year - Offensively yes, but the 2/5 off the pitching staff will be different and I wonder how much different the bullpen will look.

Now that this is over, Theo has some work to do.

Every GM every year has work to do. It's their job.

There is no major flaw with this team. They won their division and reached the NLCS for a third straight year. There is stuff to clean up. But this team came awfully close to winning another World Series, despite flaming out in this series.

I agree with you Duke, but this team did have a major flaw (the bullpen) and it was exposed during the postseason. The bullpen needs to be revamped in a major way. We shouldn't bring W. Davis back and need to get rid of Rondon and Grimm. The only ones I want back are CJ, Strop and M. Montgomery.

I was hoping we absorbed the Giants elimination game powers. Guess I’ll have to settle for their even year powers.

Wilson will be back. Maybe he can turn it around?

Barring an epic comeback, not sure how I'll be able to deal with the eternal shame of 3 straight NLCS berths and only 1 title to show for it.

Winning makes us greedy. After all the losing and all the 'thisclose' years, I'm very happy with this team. If you had told me in 84 (f.u. Steve Garvey) that in my life 3 NLCS in a row and at least one WS win in the deal was gonna happen, well I'm good. :hello:

lol @ KB hitting a DONG ever again. oh you guys

If before the series started you were told the player that plays better between Kiki Hernandez or Bryant, their team is winning the series. You would’ve been :good:

Welp, have at it, LeonDurham and gobigred.

We are a really good team that didnt play very consistent all season and are getting beat by a better team...nothing more to say slugger

The bullpen wasn't a major flaw, it was 3rd in the NL in ERA. Having a collective freakout in the postseason isn't indicative of poor design, no more than the offense struggling means that the position player group needs to be overhauled.

Rondon’s career is certainly fascinating. Remember when he first came up and would get hammered time after time, before suddenly becoming reliable? Then, a very good closer, then a very good closer who had his job taken by one of the best closers in the game. Then, a solid setup man. Now, back to where he started.
