Strop has been great, and even though the Cubs need to win this game first, the reality is they still need to win 4. A 2 inning outing from Davis limits or eliminates him from tomorrow's game, so I'd prefer to stick with Strop in the 8th.

I don't remember that, but was he making contact and hitting it right at people? I don't remember him whiffing at this rate last year

Yeah I get that, but the counter is that the best two hitters the Dodgers have are up next in the 8th. It's a tough call.

Less Ks, but from what I remember he basically turned into Jason Heyward/Juan Pierre. The Ks are new, but we've seen these small stretches of ineptitude before (on this stage)
