Hey it wouldn't be a season/playoffs without me posting what the "experts" are saying. Not that the experts mean anything, I just like seeing what the overall vibe is out there.

Does anyone know if the radio feeds for the postseason are included with the normal MLB.TV subscription or I you need the Postseason TV for that? I won't be able to watch on Friday so I'm trying to figure out my streaming options.

 

I believe they are. I remember listening to a game last year. You can also use International VPN or a service like delocator to watch the game.

They definitely are, I used it to listen to the bulk of Games 1 and 3 of the World Series (damn you, work).

I always think Vegas is much smarter than ESPN analysts. Vegas has Cubs +100, Nationals -120. Very close to even money.

 

I'd actually bet the Cubs if I gambled on sports. They opened at +110.

 

Cubs have been playing better lately, and they have experience winning a WS. I don't think its meatball at all to say experience is really important.

Arrieta's sim game scratched and he will be throwing a side session in the pen instead.

 

Doesn't sound great despite their attempt to make it seem like no big deal.

 

I guess line him up as the 4th starter and if he can't go, have Lackey on the roster

I’ll take it, all things considered. Would prefer Lester and Q switched but not the biggest of deals, I trust they made the best choice with all the info they have.

Good. I wouldn't have cared if Lester and Q were flipped, but I believe in Lester's last couple starts, and this way Q gets his first playoff start at home.

With Jake pushed all the way to 4 I’d be shocked if Lackey doesn’t make the roster as the emergency starter for that game because it tells me they aren’t certain or comfortable Jake is where he needs to be health wise.

pretty sure he's out for the series but they dont wanna tell us yet. I was kinda worried when all of the Nationals missed their regularly scheduled season ending injuries. Alls right with the world now, Cubs in 3.
