The 6 games as opposed to 4 is likely due to Inter-league rotation being AL Central v. NL Central.

 

I've not looked at other teams that have these protected rallies to test that theory though.

That's exactly what it is. Since Houston went to the NL, the crosstown series has only been 3 games in Central vs. Central years.

Pretty unfair to the Brewers that they might not even play in Miami this weekend and even if they do it will be a damaged stadium and the next time we go it's going to be re-built and refurbished like new.
