I really don't understand the logic behind dropping Schwarber (fine) for Happ (who is 2 for his last 31)

Happ is probably at the point where he's making his adjustments to opponents adjustments. Didn't he hit the ball hard a couple of times on Wednesday?

That's true, he did. Maybe he'll dong twice and my concerns will look silly

He doesn't have to treat Happ as the nu-Zobrist while he still has the actual Zobrist kicking around. Get the better OBP in front of Bryzzo, dammit.

Yeah I don't mind Happ playing at all but don't really want him leading off. It should be Zobrist. If not him probably either Heyward or even Rizzo (if Joe wants to make things spicy).

Yeah, I thought Zobrist should lead off in the off-season. And he'd be great there. But if you feel you need him behind Rizzo, at least for now, I can see it. But this version of Heyward would also be a pretty good fit there. Happ is scary as hell right now. He needs to do his own thing and figure horsefeathers out down lower in the order.

We've got four veterans that have their horsefeathers together. Put them 1-4, in some order.

To be entirely fair - when was the last time you spent all seven days of the week onsite at your job?

SSS but he's been awful at protecting AR this season. Sub 700 OPS in the 4. I appreciate that Joe still has a bit of traditional wisdom but I don't care for this particular hangup.

I mean he did do most of last year with an .819 OPS.
