It's become clear that our mighty champions are not merely content with destroying foes this year. Their hearts must be ripped out. They must have the audacity to believe they have triumphed, only to be left in shock as our dongsmen reveal to them the foolishness of their belief.

 

This cruel play will once again play out in this game. Again the Reds are tossing out a human sacrifice. Only time will tell if the Cubs will put him out of his misery early or if they will allow him, too, to foolishly believe he has solved the unsolvable.

 

Unleash more dongs.

RHB's against this Reed fellow, in his brief MLB career, are hitting .299/.381/.557 with 53 total hits, 11 HRs, 11 2Bs and 19 BB in only 43.2 innings. On top of allowing 4 or more runs in 7 of his 10 career starts and only going more than 5 innings 3 times. So yeah.... Good luck, guy.

An ABC7 game I can't watch. Awesome. Russell and Contreras dong it up. Arrieta goes 6 strong. Cubs win this one easy.

If I'm putting on my serious hat, it's really dumb to grade fandoms like this of people just sitting and watching a game. Like if someone who can't tell you who plays first base for the Cubs and wants to trash talk an opponent, sure, but a team insulting its customers for simply being there is lame.

 

 

If I'm putting on my snarky hat, I might point out that the Cubs have had legions of fans in Cincy for years, or maybe do something like this:
