The beast is here to devour all in its path. Cincinnati is as Tokyo to our dongsmen's Godzilla. Some person named Tim Adleman has been chosen for a human sacrifice by the Reds, who by the grace of their merciful gods have been allowed to hold first place for the time being. That changes this weekend after the mighty champions destroy these foolish pretenders and leave nothing but a smoking, festering hole of pusillanimous ruin behind.

Unleash more dongs.

Another damn WGN game I can't watch. Well, at least I actually have a radio station to listen to this year. The MLB blackout areas are garbage. Lester goes 7+, Dongs by Schwarber, Bryant and Heyward. Cubs win 9-2.

Happy 1 year anniversary to Jake's 2nd no-hitter, and a 16-0 embarrassment of the Reds (is this the game where Thom had a hissy fit? or possibly that was the KB 3 dong night?)

I so badly want to make a "Jeremiah was a bullfrog" crack here that I'm going to do it even though I can't think of a clever way to word one.

I believe this was the hissy fit night.

Also in that series, we lost a game to the Reds by 8 runs somehow, and we still had a +24 run differential in that 4 game series

Thom has a hissy fit every time the Cubs are in town. Wife and I went to a game back in 2009 and we clinched the division that night. I remember listening to the radio as we left and he was just going off on how many Cubs fans were at the game and was disgusted by it. How dare they come to our house and have more people here kind of stuff. We waited for the team to come out after the game was over, but the Reds turned off the stadium lights on us lol.

That must've been quite a night.

I went to a late season series in early Sept in Cinci in 08

But didn't we clinch the division at home against the Cardinals that year?

He means 2007. We clinched at Cincy that year. I was at the game, and Cubs fans had completely taken over the park. It's no surprise pantywaist Thom got all pissy about it.

I was working at a high end restaurant in Scottsdale AZ back in the day when Thom was the Diamondbacks play by play. He was standing outside smoking a cigarette (very strict non-smoking joint) and the smoke was floating into the patio where others were dining. I politely asked him to move further away and he scoffed and looked at me like I asked him if I could horsefeather his sister. A complete douche.

Back to back games off for Zobrist? He always hits well at GAB. Kinda curious.

Joe maybe wants Javy's defense out there with Lester on the mound? Albert with back to back starts, that's nice.

This as close to the all defence lineup as I'm going to get. Honestly it's as close as I want to get. Maybe Zobrist in LF and Schwarber as DH.
