So West shoves Irving and gets a technical, then goes face to face with Thompson and only Thompson gets a tech? That's terrible. Either you do double techs and West gets tossed or Thompson shouldn't have gotten one.

Durant hitting LeBron on the head on LeBron's dunk should have been his 3rd foul and maybe a flagrant that's the type of shot that is called a flagrant at times. NBA refs have to be the worst in sports.

Outside of being 3-5 in the finals, LeBron probably won't get as much play as he should but he went for 41 (on 19-30), 13 reb and 8 assists tonight and averaged 33.6/12/10 in the finals.

Can't wait for Cavs/Warriors IV next year, yawn.

If C's draft Fultz and then trade for Butler/PG plus the cap space, I'm not so sure that Cavs are 100% back into the finals next season.

Not sure if Cavs can do much during this offseason (outside of trading Love/Thompson/JR Smith/etc) so this team won't change/improve much.

Yeah Cavs can't do horsefeathers without trading dudes (and gotta take back contracts in NBA just can't dump them). And agree on Celtics if they can add some combo of Heyward, PG/Jimmy and Blake. They are probably the only real contenders still, short of a LBJ injury. Bucks still need a piece or 2 and Giannis needs to keep getting better other than them there's really nobody else in the East conceivably.

I'll still take Michael, but I don't know how anyone could ding LeBron for that series.

I used to get enjoyment out of Lebron failing (mostly before his first title), but GOAT arguments don't interest me anymore.

I grew up on Jordan. I don't remember becoming a fan, I just always was. He's like a superhero. I like Batman (MJ), some people like Superman (LJ) they're wrong but whatever.

The underrated thing I like about Jordan's legacy is the hall of famers that were denied a ring (at least partly) because the prime of their careers ran up against Jordan's 8 year reign - Ewing, Miller, Barkley, Stockton, Malone...

What future hall of famer in the mid to later part of their primes hasn't won a ring yet in this era? Melo, anybody else? I'm pretty far out of the NBA loop, but I can't think of anybody else. Certainly not anybody to stack up against those from the '90s.

I mean...the only players to make the NBA Finals out of the East the last 7 years happened to play with LBJ.

I think this Warriors teams likely beats any of the Bulls championship teams. You can't really use losing this series as a knock against LeBron in my opinion (though some of his lack of hustle plays last night were kinda week)

Mike would have averaged a quadruple triple.

That commercial is great.

Foot Locker also mad the commercial last year where Ben Simmons asks, Towns, Booker and Russell for advice on being in the NBA and Russell takes Simmons's phone and throws it out the window.
