Lurking from time to time still.

More lurker/frequent reader, but this seems like a good spot to post something. I read regularly, but I'm almost a day behind on everything, so all my commentary seems irrelevant by the time I'm ready to say it.

Win three more

Found this site in 2003 or 2004, I can't remember. Initially registered under a different name, then lost the password.

Anyway, I'm still on here all the time. Mostly lurking - most of my posts are from a half-drunken late-night argument many years ago with Sulley/Stannis (I think? My memory fails me) about atheism, if I remember correctly.

All the same, just as excited about the Cubs as anyone else!

I haven't posted in a long, long, LONG time as my life really doesn't have room for message board posting anymore. But I'm alive and well and rooting for one very historic Cubs win!

Hello, I'm a huge Cubs fan. I was a member at the Cubs message board, but had I had enough with the trolls. I hope this is a better board.

Whatever happens in Game 7, I will be proud of my Cubs for making it this far. Let's go Cubbies, you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's get to Kluber early.

Welcome back!

This is a lot different team than you and I saw in 2008 in Washington. I think this team has it.

The one time I actually met people from this board in real life. I met up with you one game and Brionch the other.

You are both certainly missed around here.

It sure has been a while. I have serious doubts anyone remembers me but I see a lot of familiar names.

Coming back here to help level out the anxiety of waiting for game 7. Not sure why I stopped posting - internet usage in general went down.

Go Cubs. Couldn't have imagined this moment back during the times when the biggest Cubs highlight was the Jake Peavy thread in transactions.

I refused to post in this thread in fear of jinxing the Cubs. Season and drought over, it feels good to post about the Cubs again.

Occasionally posted in Blackhawks thread but it's been a long time since I posted about the Cubs. So tonight is a good night to change that. :yahoo:

Hello to all my fellow World Series Champion Cub fans!

Long time no time. I'm now a retired message board poster. This was the only thing that would end my retirement.

Enjoy!

Ditto...

I tell ya, what a rollercoaster ride... When the Indians tied it in the 8th, it mas my lowest point as a sports fan... An hour later, it's the happiest I've ever been as a sports fan.

Hello friends

I posted here a very small amount about 10 years ago. Have lurked ever since.

Broke my drought about a year ago to proclaim my love for everyone - after the Cardinals series. We didn't win another game.

I've been gagging to get involved in the discussion all season, but I'm too superstitious to actually follow through.

Given what we've all just witnessed, I am writing words on the internet again.
