To be honest I was kinda happy to hear Costas at the start of the game, his voice reminds me of listening to playoff baseball growing up, but holy smokes the verbose notes he forced himself through and now the non-stop sanctimony, please never again

Yes, this year was a departure, probably due to said swing change.
