Bears are 7.5 point underdogs.

Trevathan needs thumb surgery. Eddie Goldman has an ankle sprain. Cutler supposedly doesn't need surgery but that diagnosis could change.

According to Fox, last night was unacceptable.

This team sucks.

I mean, I could not imagine a more disastrous outcome last night

Blowout loss to a rookie QB led team that's probably not that good....CHECK

Injuries to key players on both sides of the ball that appear to range from 'multiple weeks out' to 'season ending'...CHECK

Fight between teammates captured on national TV....CHECK

Kicker that was brought on to replace surprisingly cut kicker before week 1 missing chip shot FG in his first FG attempt....CHECK

Said injuries creating glaring holes that expose lack of depth.....CHECK

Like even if you want to say 'its just a bad game, give it time to come together' (which is probably a silly expectation to begin win), because of the several injuries you really aren't going to get that opportunity to gel and whatever. The season is essentially lost which is insane for a team that is supposed to have a high floor/low ceiling coach and an easy schedule.

It's almost like they were a bad team going in to the season.

But wait until next year when we add some free agents who have been good but already used up their prime years and our injured recent draft picks who haven't shown anything are healthy.

The Bears for the past 3 years have done an excellent job of killing my interest in football

a couple more years like this and I will detach from caring about the NFL completely

Can't wait for this team to get back to 100% health in week 12 and rattle off 4 wins.

thankfully it is not health that is preventing this team from winning lots of games.

But that will be the scapegoat and we can repeat this cycle again next year.

I missed the fight, was probably watching the Cubs at that point of the game. Who fought?

nobody fought, mcphee confronted Cutler after the pick, while wearing street clothes since he can't participate.
