I'm jealous of cities that had football teams move away.

This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say they're jealous of St. Louis.

Didn't lamarr tear it in '14 doing a dance after a sack?

yes

His first sack, in the 8th game of the season after signing a huge deal, which came halfway through the 4th quarter of a game the Patriots were up by over 30 points and had their backup QB in.

Even in a sensible column about the need to draft a QB a Chicago writer can't help but include the incredibly useless points about these individuals' ties to the Chicagoland area.

The veteran market may have some interesting possibilities as well. It has been speculated that Garoppolo, a native of Arlington Heights, could be traded. Washington’s Kirk Cousins, who lived in Barrington as a child, could be a free agent. So could Mike Glennon of the Bucs, who has at least visited Chicago

So, a bad Bears teams will probably be missing the following players this week:

Cutler- starting QB

Carey- backup RB

Goldman- starting NT

Fuller- starting CB

Callahan- starting nickel

Amos- starting S

Trevathan- starting ILB

Prosinski- backup S

Houston- starting OLB (already on IR, so not on roster but he's starting for McPhee who is also not on the current roster)

If I recall correctly, the hamstring/groin tear or whatever it was he suffered against Arizona (week 2 ironically) last year was supposed to keep him out 3-4 weeks, and returned after missing just one game. I doubt he plays Sunday night but after reading that, I fully expect him out there against Detroit next week.

The "Jay isn't tough" narrative bothers me far more than "he sucks". At least the latter can be debated. The former should be so far out the window at this point. Dude is a tough SOB.

I don't really think there is a jay isn't tough narrative anymore.

I certainly don't see/hear it.

Yes, this and the "Bears fans loathe Jay Cutler" narrative drive me nuts. I know there are meatballs out there that don't like Jay, but I would say 90% of Bears fans I know either like him or at worst are 'meh' on him.

I'd say 90% is way high
